What’s worse than spending hours on a design, only to be met by an upload error when you go to submit it?
NOTHING. That’s what. It’s almost as keyboard-smashing as Adobe crashing.
Sound like you? We think we know what that problem might be. And it’s a fairly easy fix, so don’t yell “Fuuuuuuuuck!” into your iPad just yet.
TLDR: Design in CMYK, upload in RGB.
When uploading your card designs to our site, an error can occur if your Jpeg is still set to CMYK.
Basically, when designing we need you to use a CMYK format to avoid creating a false colour palette, but before you upload, you need to change the file to RGB.
Make sense? Please tell us it makes sense.
If not, here’s a handy dandy visual showing what might happen if you don’t listen to us:

So before you submit, make sure you check your file. If you don’t, the files will need to be amended, your upload/approval will take ages or we might even reject it, if we’ve not had our morning coffee.
You don’t want that, we don’t want that, shoppers scouting Scribbler stores for unique cards created by talented designers like you don’t want that.
So here’s a quick breakdown (not the mental type):
If you create in CMYK and upload in CMYK, it’ll be rejected.
If you create in RGB and upload in RGB, it’ll be rejected.
If you create in CMYK and convert to RGB, it’ll go through the approval process. Yay.
